Day 1 Yangon
Arrival & City tour
Arrival Yangon in the morning welcomed by
your Santa Maria guide and led you to the
hotel for check-in. After a brief rest,
enjoy Yangon city orientation tour taking
you to the downtown sections; also visit
to some major religious highlights such
as Botataung pagoda on the bank of Yangon
River & Sule paya at the heart of Yangon,
Chaukhtatgyi colossal reclining Buddha.
In the late afternoon, you’ll be visiting
the world famous “Shwedagon” pagoda. Overnight
stays in Yangon.
Day 2 Yangon
– half day visits before departure
Have your breakfast at the hotel. A half
day tour will be made to the remaining highlights
of Yangon (or take one of two optional half-day
tour) such as Yangon’s biggest Scott (Bo
Gyoke Aung San) market, famous Art Galleries,
visit National Museum (with additional admission
fees USD5pp) or simply stroll around the
beautiful grounds of Kandawgyi lake and
park. Then, transfer to the Yangon international
airport for your departure flight in the
late afternoon or evening.
Optional half day tours
Twente, a glimpse to a typical delta
town
Half-day guided Cruise tour to Twente
by RV. Mahaythi visiting Oh-Bo Pottery Sheds,
Shwesandaw Pagoda, and Central Market including
on board picnic lunch can be made before
your departure flight in the evening. Please

Thanlyin & Kyauktan
Another half-day tour can be made to
Thanlyin, which had been the base for notorious
Portuguese adventurer Philip De Brito, a
trade representative for Kings of Rakhaing,
in later 16th and early 17th centuries.
You will see a serene pagoda of Kyaukhauk
built by the Mons; and the Kyauktan pagoda,
an ancient temple complex located in the
middle of the river with pretty strong current.
The trip will takes about 4 to 5 hours from
Yangon.
